'Whats that on the road? hmmm it can't be can it?.......Noooooooooooooo the gritters have been out' Crying or Very sad Thumbs Down

Time to slow down lots and worry about salt rot Sad

I hate this time of year, well in the sense that I have to slow right down and be super careful but then after last winter ended I couldn't believe how much smoother and improved my riding felt. Anyone else get like that or is it just me?

Must have been for the melting tarmac today due to the lovely hot sun Wink

Leaves are the biggest worry at the moment.

I made the mistake of doing a long way home via Plympton/Lee Moor/Shaugh Prior/Bickley on tuesday night, the roads were already wet but it started coming down again just as I passed Lee Moor.

Quite the wake up call that ride was with the highlight being the bike nearly sliding out sideways under me going over a cattlegrid at 20 Confused

I was kind of glad to be home rinsing only salt of after that one Smile

I think I'd better move in your direction, been absolutely bloody freezing up here all day. Had stinging fingers this morning when I got to work. Its only a five mile potter down a country lane into town. Sad
