Apologies if this is a bit of a doofus quesiton.

Basically I want to get some s/h leathers off ebay but I'm not sure what the sizing numbers mean (i.e. size 42 - 42 what?).

I'm 5'7", 32" waist, 28" inside leg - what size would I be?

Thanks Smile

I'm 11 and half stone and your size and I'm a Euro 52 or UK 42.

DONT DO IT!

Go to a proper bike shop, and try some on.

I bought some with some rough idea of my size and they would get on but were horribly tight and i couldnt move.

But i then went down my local shop and found out i was a PERFECT fit for dianese size 54.

Then lurked on ebay sniping. Ended up getting a damn near new set of leathers that fit like a glove for about 65 quid.

But all makes are different sizes, so make sure you've tried them on.

Like most things, some brands are larger or smaller than others. So yeah, find a pair that you like the feel of if you are going to buy them cheaper on the net.

I've had 52 and a 54. The 52 is snug around the legs and arms and (I must have lost weight Laughing) its comfy around the gut and chest. The last 52 I had had a back protector that made the pecs a little tight.

The 54 was 'loose' enough that I could wear something under the leathers, but the 52 is kinda kinky feeling, and with my new pair being the colours that they are Laughing

A 2 piece is probably the more practical option, but its fun trying to get into a one piece only to realise that you need a piss Laughing

You're probably a euro 50 (about 38-40" chest 30-32" waist)- but being not especially tall you may find legs or arms too long - see previous posts, try a few makes and maybe one of them has your body shape in mind.
