off we went today, me and a mate to have a normal law breaking ride round.

took him a different way toward alton towers that he wasn't sure of, he got bored of my wheelies into every bend so decided to spurt in front.

little to his knowledge was a double set of S bends that went downhill.

the results.....

Those fairings are friggin' cheap. Update the topic when he gets them , I'd be interested to know how the finish/quality holds up on them. You know, for obvious reasons (they're chinese).

Damage look quite light really. Is this your friend who passed his test a few weeks back?

they saved his swingarm (the little spools)

and saved £100's of quids if he wanted to repair the fairings.

saved 100's as well because it missed the engine casings.

Nick, wasn't my mate who passed. Thumbs Up

Good they did work, money well spent Thumbs Up

On occasions iv'e heard they caused more damage to the frame etc causing the bike to be written off.

AFAIK the bolts they attach to are designed to bend under stress, obviously they can only stress too far before putting strain on the frame.
