Hello all-x-
Just a quicky,my standard nsr will do me good for 93 mph,i was just wondering if there is anything i can do to get it to the magic 100 mph without doing any long term damage to it,need to hit the triple figures,just gutted that i need just 7 more mph and it has'nt got the go in it to do it,and just wondering who else has an nsr 125 r and what the top end is on theres???

well what bike do you have? ie RR or R, what year etc

As jimbo said, what model?

Have you checked that both the restrictors, as described on www.nsr125.com, are gone?

Does it redline in 6th when it gets to 93, if so you can probably upgear it to get a higher top speed but lower acceleration. If not then there's not enough power in it's current state of tune.

It's a 1999 Nsr 125 r,and it does'nt red line in 6th it gets to 10,250

Right... Have you tried downhill Very Happy

The last few mph are a real struggle on mine Very Happy It will sit happy at 85, and i can budge it to 95, but the last bit is a real push Very Happy

At those speeds, it will be de-restricted.

Changing front chain-ring would do it...
