Thanks, the paint is done by my Bro as it was in a sorry state after the crash
I have 2 of the previous model (main difference is rwu forks) for sale for £1000 each, inc wets on wheels etc
This is the only current model in the UK.
I've met Jamie at the NEC, very funny. |

It seems like a good entry level to racing bikes. What's your budget for costs per season?
And can I sponsor your bike |

I try not to add up how much it costs but I reckon you'll do a season for 2k assuming you dont have any bad seizures or big crashes.
Dont do sponsors
Fahd, yeah thats me Minimotos got too expensive to race, these cost the same but are more fun
A standard 72cc barrel will do 22-24 standard running a digital adjustable ignition tuned to fuck they'll do around 25-ish. But they need rebuilding every 9 hours at that kind of tune |

2 engines available but lots of configurations, AM6 and a Derbi with Hebo, Polini, Conti, Mallossi, Metrakit racing parts etc. The main thing is getting the ignition and rest of the setup right takes a lot of time on the dyno. The class rules are 'open GP' so set by capacity, anything else goes although theres talk of 80cc next year.
Theres a few different types of bike that fit the class, adults can run a converted road chassis (RS50, Rejeu 50, motohispania etc) then theres converted Honda RS125's, these Jawa's, Conti make something simular and Metrakit. Lots of the current up and coming riders in the UK use/d them as a step between minimoto and 125. Scott Redding, Jay Dunn, Ed Rendall (just won the GP3 championship) to name a few.. Its good cheap racing with out too much risk. |

£1000 each inc spare wheels with wets, sprockets etc. They arent quite ready yet as they are being refreshed for next season
No idea what it'd cost to convert an RS. You'd need a bike, then strip anything off that doesnt make it go, stop or turn faster, race fairings, lockwire etc then fit a 70 kit (Hebo, Polini or Metrakit are best) then sort out an ignition (PVL, Selletra or Conti CRX) then fit race clutch plates and springs, a race crank, 28mm carb, some good track tyres, track brake pads braided hoses.. thats all I can think of atm be an interesting winter project though |
