You may remember the GPZ 600 import that I bought in bits and with shed loads missing.

I tried selling it, it didnt go, I was gonna try and get her on the road, but it is a mammoth task for me.

Now I am trying to decide whether to keep her and keep trying to sell her, or just weigh it in for scrap, its the one in my sig if that still works.

Your thoughts?

don't sell it for scrap, most places charge about £50 to remove a vehicle, then you will be out of pocket. It is costing nothing to keep it so just hang on in there. It might sell now some bikers have nothing to do as their bikes are laid up for winter. People like a winter project to keep them occupied.

See the ad in my sig for details mate.

I wouldnt pay a scrap man to take it, I would take it myself, or a few of my mates work the scrap so paying for scrap to be taken is a no no.

"I am pretty sure that I am not able to tell you that I want 70 quid for the lot, or I will sell seperately.

I am also not allowed to tell you that I probably would swap the lot for a running 125 or similar.

So I wont tell you any of that."

Gotta love the man for trying Laughing

Has it still got loom, V5 etc, or is it just the frame, motor and running gear? Might be interested.

Just the frame motor and running gear mate.
60 quid to a BCF'er. Clocks as well.

I must tell you that it has been stood outside for a while.

I have the carbs too, indoors, the missus would not let me keep the whole thing indoors.

If the carbs go with the bike I want 20 notes for em, if not 30.
Thumbs Up

That's not helping Wink

Let me sleep on it and check to see how much space I can make in the garage. That really is crying out for a single seat on a cut down subframe with a few other suitably refined details.

I'd just decided I couldn't bloodrunner the ZZR, so that would be perfect...

I know where there is a complete one that I might be able to get fairly cheap, but may have suffered oil starvation to the head (hasnt been checked yet). if that helps with your decision. Let me know if you want me to ask.

If I had the right license to ride it, I'd buy it off you as a rat project.

But I'd say if you're having trouble getting rid, just scrap it.

Don't they pay you by weight for scrap down there? I've always got £50-60 for scrapping a car.

Just out of curiosity why did you remove the engine from the frame?

When you say mechanically minded, do you mean the engine needs stripping or 'should' run assuming the carbs, battery etc etc are refitted?

Cheers Guv, got your text. Spoke to Pete earlier as well, it's looking promising. As I said, I'll be up toward the end of the week and give you an answer (and cash) there and then upon viewing. Looks like project Bloodrunner may be a goer Wink

Nice one.

Stinkwheel had a good idea by the way.

Saw something similar on one of Twizzle's bikes, looks OK. Not really in keeping with what's in mind though Wink
