Hello, I'm going to get a second bike for the winter as I don't want my baby taking a beating during the bad weather.
I'm looking for suggestions, Preferably a trail/supermoto.
It has to be stupidly cheap to add on my policy so something under 400cc probably.
I've got about 300 - 400 quid. Am I likley to get something reliable for this, The looks/condition aren't that important as it's only for the winter.
I had a DT125 a few years ago and it was great fun and very reliable considering the abuse I gave it in fields etc. I would consider another unless there's any better suggestions.

I'd suggest looking for a 250..
I asked about adding a 125 to my £120 i pay for my 650cc.. cost? £120
Allot down to the general stealability of 125's i suspect. (crossers are right at the top of the scalley stealing list)
A 250 on the other hand isn't nearly so desirable to scalleys, still good on fuel and a bit more prod to keep you out of hassle. ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

Your right, DTR125 is a sweet bike for all those conditions.
Kawasaki KL250 is a solid bike from all accounts, it can deal with anything really.
Honda XR models are near bullit proof to but not usually within your budget.
Suzuki TS125R (early 90's model) is a great bike, i've had an X and an R and they never let me down.
