Well my lil 125 i've got has the clutch at the biting point quite far out on the lever.

What would I have to do to adjust it so it bites more in the middle of the lever, by this i mean I want it so I dont have to let the clutch out so far to get it to biting point.

It has the 2 adjusters one on the lever one on the clutch cover.

Any help or explanation would be appreciated Thumbs Up

they are just for the cable, not the clutch itself,
im not sure on the new xrs but the old ones you had to take off the side case and adjust the arm that presses the clutch (connected to the cable)
on the cb series of bikes there was a screw and a nut that you could adjust on the side of the case,
don't know about the cg bikes, id assume it would be very similar to that

on cars they have a high biting point when the clutch plate is worn, I'm not sure how bike clutches work. basically you barely have to lift your foot from the floor to stall it when it's brand new, when it's old you have to bring your foot up further.

Sounds like something you're experiencing, maybe it's just new/old clutch and it's worn in?
