Chat Bugs

Every 5 mins or so, i'll enter text, hit return and fuck all happens, so I have to refresh the whole thing, upon which it chunders a bit then does the 'loading first messages' type thing.

Quite often, when someone enters/leaves or their auto-away kicks in, the same thing happens. It always gives me a little blip of some type, if not a full on freeze up.

I'm on ADSL, XP, IE 6.026. It's been doing it pretty much since the tweaks - was more stable for me before.

Same here - Blueyonder Broadband, Win ME and IE 6.026

It was a LOT worse before the upgrade, it would happen to every other message I type. Now it is more like Sar says... every 5 mins or so

Dodd does the forum seem generally really slow for you? When I'm using blueyonder it feels like a slug but at the same time on BT adsl it's perfectly fine.

Sometimes it is dead quick, and sometimes it looks like it's hardly doing anything!! I do get this quite a lot with BY, so I just put it down to that

Problem here:

If i have chat open, and then open new window via the logo or anything, it will either take AGES to load, or just not load at all Sad

This is the same if i open a new internet explorer window and load bcf.com (or try)

this is with IE 6, win XP, on single ISDN

when i then close chat, the other windows then load fine Confused
