The first person to say 'on my hands' gets a slap!

Obviously I mean when you're not using them... I've always kept mine in my lid, but my lid smells a bit funny... and a mate said it was because I leave my sweaty gloves in it...

Does this sound right?

Where do you keep yours?

Depends whats going on.

If I am at work I squish them in under the rear cowel/seat.

If I am at a mates/home stick them on the side.

Around town normally inside the lid which stays with me. If I am gonna be in town all day I would stick them under the seat and clamp the lid on the side.

Unless its in the technical help section you could say that all the threads are pointless!

I'm just wondering if there is many people that leave their gloves in their lid...

I used to but the velcro straps had a habit of sticking to the removable stuff and pulling it out Laughing

So I stopped.

I know you shouldn't but when at work gloves stay in lid, when at place with loads of bikers, they stay on my tank with lid next to them and at home they live wedged between clocks and tank.

On a shelf next to my lid in the garage when at home, in the topbox when out, in my lid if the topbox has something else in it. If they are soaked when I get home then sticking out, one on each mirror.

In summer; on a shelf in the mess. In winter; on the radiator

Nice idea..... Laughing

Shame we got LCD's now.....

At work if wet next to lid if dry in it..
At home on shelf next to boiler in winter, in summer next to lid.
But always have a spare pair in topbox just in case.

In my tank bag unless they're wet, never in my helmet as they're obviously exposed to the elements and can get a bit minging.

Ted,,
Have you considered that it may be your head that is stinky and it is getting into the helmet and making the gloves smell?

In the top box with the elmit (outside of it if its been raining)

In the garage they go on top of the muffs

Because your a tart Razz

I just leave my gloves in my lid where ever i am. If i am at work and my gloves/any other gear is wet i used to put them in the compressor room (we're talking 35/40 degrees all the time) until they scrapped that room and made it into a locker room (now everywhere is freezing!)

If i am at home and they are wet they get stuck on a a candle holder (one on one candle holder) in front of the fire.....never leave them on the radiator as they go all stiff and dodgey.

Erm they are always in my helmet, unless I'm wearing them or they need to be dried out I put them in the helmet.

Otherwise I tend to find I pick up my helmet and walk out, then have to come back for my gloves.

My helmet smells like.. a helmet lol.

I have a special storage compartment just for my gloves.

I open the hatch on my tyres and in they go; but it's a fucker having to pump them up every morning.

Maybe I should hide them inside cylinders 1 and 4 instead? That would keep them toasty.

Hi

If they are dry then they live in my helmet. If wet then they tend to get lobbed on the radiator (and for work I generally carry a spare set with me to make sure I have dry gloves for the journey home).

All the best

Keith
