hi all just wondered any one know were ican get a 33bhp restriction kit from,cant really find one on the net they all come up cbr 600 or hornet or will it be the same iwould suppose it will be the same, any help thanks alot

are you going down the route of restricting it "properly" and sending off for all the paperwork etc? if so then your nearest bike garage can probably get them.

Nope, the CBF uses a de-tuned Hornet motor, and the Hornet uses a de-tuned CBR600 motor, so the diameter of the holes in the washers would be different sizes for each bike, and I would expect the CDI's to be different too.

i phone my local honda dealer but they want £150 for the kit and yes go down the correct road with paperwork etc Sad thanks alot fellas

It's the paperwork you are paying for, the restrictor kit would only be a few quid.

£150?? thats too bad, the cheapest I got round here was £170 for a restriction kit fitted with paper work. The Blackpool Honda said £200 for me...

It was a Honda Hornet 250 might be a bit rare but it shouldn't matter, uses the same type of restriction as most bikes.
