Came across this on YouTube. I couldnt figure out why the bike doesnt destroy the car and it turns out its been 33bhp restricted.

I couldnt help but laugh. And the amount of people who have seen that video that will think that an MR2 can beat a Ninja 6r.

The MR2 is shit though. I mean... come on... 33bhp zx6r.

Like most cars that can 'beat' bikes they always do high speed roll ons which bikes arent designed for. I mean a stock ZX10 is better than a Bugatti Veyron in 1/4 mile.

A properly launched 33bhp bike should whoop the MR2 up to at least 100 I'd guess.

MR2 0-60 - 6/7 seconds.

ZX6R - 3.2 Thumbs Up well, near enough anyways! lol

Sorry, biased zx6 owner Smile

Nah, My 6r was at 33bhp for a fair few months, and 0-80 is fairly quick, but after that it just kinda chugs along to 110/115.

SO I reckon in a race 0-100 between the MR2 and the 33bhp 6r, the MR2 miiight just do it. Possibly. Though the light weight might give the 6r a decent lead. We should test it Razz

Considering most 33BHP bikes actually top out at around 100 I don't think so. When my Hornet was restricted I could keep up with my friends Audi A2 1.4TDI up to a certain point, (accelerated faster at some too) but after 70-80 he jut went away.

Different story now though Razz
