Entertaining though I'm sure.

Something needs to be done with those expansion chambers, or corners are gonna be a nightmare.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

It's an ugly job. It's been done before, it's been done with a sillyer engine and it's been done in a much neater fashion.

You want the motor to fit under the bodywork so people can't tell until you do a fourth gear power wheelie.

Like this one:

PAH!

My mate shoe-horned a GPZ1100 motor in a Lambretta, painted it pink and took it up the drag strip at the Bulldog Bash several years ago.

He called it the Pink Torpedo.

I shit you not. Laughing

Looks like the seller just realised his mistake and decided to look for a buyer with less observational skills than him.

Well i can tell you it did happen ...as real as i'm typin to you here...the bike was a 1957 heinkel scooter with a gpz1100 dfi motor grafted in...we kept the 17" rear kwak wheel but made the rear suspension rigid...the front end was standard heinkel except we put a 10" anti puncture wheel barrow tyre on the rim...(mainly cos you cant get a 10" tyre rated to 200mph)...it ran on avgas and nitro it produced around 190 bhp..... it was matt black and pink and called the "Unguided Missile"

When we raced it at the 1984 bully it was also the NDRA WORLD FINALS and we were also raising money for the great ormund street wishing well appeal...we entered it in run wot yer brung and managed 6 runs before the fuel lines melted from the nitro but we managed 11th out of 45 when we raced the top fuelers....we even beat the "ampthil mob triumph" sorry if spelt wrong....and at the end of the day after walking round with buckets collecting money we were presented with a cheque for £1000 by the HA for sheer balls in doing it in the first place... we raised £1500 total

So hope thats put you straight......
