This is my first bike and I'm having some good fun on it. Seems to pull heads quite well, often I have people coming up to me amazed that its a 125cc bike Apart from the engine it does look like a bigger bike and the 17l fuel tank seems to never run out . Might need to get some new rubber for it though as it doesn't feel to nice in wet.

Thanks The top speed I have had out of it is just over 80mph going down a steepish hill, but usually cruises at about 65mph.

Hey thats my bike! you stole it,bring it back...now
I've had just about 80 out of mine downhill but I was a bit concerned about the rev counter being well into the redline,it sounded like the engine was about to go into orbit...perhaps thats why they call them Comets
Seriously though I reckon its a brilliant bike and like you said I've had many people ask me if it really is just a 125,I took it to a bike meet near me back in the summer and loads of people were swarming around it asking me loads of questions about it...who needs a Harley to get lots of attention?! |

hehehe i know what you mean about well in the red I think i was near 15000rpm when I got to 80 and the engine did sound quite worrying lol.
Shame it doesn't make loads of women run over to it as well lol |

125 V-Twin? Sweet
What does it sound like? Do you have to work the engine or does it have plenty of torque? I always assumed all 125s had single cylinder engines. ____________________ Hard livin', hard luck. |

Yeah, lovely bike, although I always thought the 250 version (exact same bike bar the engine cc) is more sensible, only £300 more and is tapping on the 33bhp restriction.
I have to say, I think they're the nicest looking 125's WELLL, NOT INCLUDING THE MITO |

They do sound nice when your sitting on it, but I don't think its load/grunty enough for people at a fair distance away. I can't really say much about torque seeing as this is the first bike I have ever owned/ridden, but goes good enough for me There are a few 125's with V-twins I have seen a few 125 cruisers with em.
Thanks guys

Theres a Roadwin 125 which is exactly the same frame and engine but diffrent wheels and costs about a grand more.
Tried to find the Hyosung dealer in Ealing and looks like they have moved or closed down |

I've seen a pic of the Roadwin in Whatbike? mag,the frame is very similar but not identical, also the engine is a single and not a V twin.
According to Whatbike the price is £2,399 which is actually a bit cheaper than the Comet but I know which bike I prefer
Here ya go,I've found a pic of it...

LOL
Any old excuse...
Whatbike did actually give it a fairly good review although they say they haven't ridden it yet, they did however give the Comet a great review and the last few words of that review sums it all up in my opinion...and I quote..."Why aren't more 125s this good"
Agreed.
But then I would agree to that wouldn't I

It was really on that review and the road test that they did on the 250cc version that made me decide to get a comet and i'm glad i did |

Well Hyosung's slogan for the Comet is "Nice achievement".
I'd say they are quite right |

Must be 2 different versions of the 125, the front forks are different and the brake disks are to also looks like tires as well, though still a very nice bike 'V-twins' ____________________ ****NORTHERN IRELAND NEWSFLASH!!**** According to a recent survey, 94% of loyalists said the best sex they ever had was in the shower; the other 6% haven't been to jail yet.*** |
