does anyone have a VFR400 manual with instructions of how to dismantle and rebuild the fuel tap, and which pipes go where.

i've got it rebuilt and its leaking a little bit of fuel, just dripping it. i sealed up around the top of the tap so i think it could be one of the little pipes coming off it.

yeh. confusing stuff, i had little leaks with no obvious reason.

MY flat mate's got the NC30 one lying around somewhere I think... I'll scan the pages if you want it and I can find it.

You might have a broken O-ring or knackered daiphragm(SP?) in the fuel tap mate.I had a similar problem after a daft mechanic put the vacuum hose on the wrong connection of the fuel tap, my solution was to buy a new (well used) tap assembly from a breakers yard. Cost me £15 and sorted the problem.

the o ring is fine and the diaphragm doesn't sit flat on it own, but with a little work i can get it to sit flat between the 2 plates. the big problem i have is where the vacuum hose and spring are meant to go, i need to see the exploded drawing of the in the manual to see how to reassemble it.

if is really is knackered, and theres a fair chance there seeing as when i took it apart it was fully of very thick rust, i'll get one off partfinder.
