I think you've got to learn to use your initiative Jimbo.

ie initiative = google

Most of the questions you post could probably be answered that way. Idea

it was a fairly innocent question, im not taking sides, but why else do we have this forum, its for helping people out

main thing is how it looks to potential members, kind of off putting

just my thoughts Confused

Hi

Not sure. I assume that the wording is such that you have a class of licence that allows you to ride a bike of up to 25kW. That licence expires when you are 70 (ie, 2055). I assume that legally you technically get another licence group after 2 years meaning that you can ride a bike of over 33hp

All the best

Keith

Damn peeps, i know youve already apologised, but... i have to add my bit, jimbo has posted 2 threads in the past day or so and both of which he has been accused of spamming, by none other than... retro (again) I mean come on luke, you may have something against him or whatever... but he did ask perfectly reasonable bike related questions Exclamation Just lay off the flaming a bit mate, cos im starting to get pissed off with you shooting your mouth off at him every time he posts anything whatsoever.. You wouldnt like it if everyone kept doing it to you would you? Maybe i should start doing it to you?? So please lay off him a bit. Thanks!

[edit]
oh, in addition to that... you post threads like "GTA Vice City" on a bike chat forum, and still have the right to flame him for asking a question about bikes? Your a fool obviously! Why dont you put a thread like that in fun stuff next time eh?

Technically, the licence that you have is restricted until you send it in and get a new one (in 2 years time)...once that one arrives, it should reflect the unrestricted category A licence.

The "2055" is to show that you are licenced to ride a restricted motorcycle until that year, if you choose to not upgrade your licence. Automation is a word that doesn't exist in the DVLA dictionary, so they won't poke you unless you give them money Confused Razz

...and I agree that the abuse towards Jimbo is/was a bit oversevere here...and how many of you flamers have actually passed your test?
