after 2 weeks i'm finally moved into the new house.

chuffed to bits with it and loooads better than the flat I moved from.

for 97k it got me a brand new property, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.

Internet was a pain in the arse, rang them, placed my order... only to be told that they've sent an activation link to me via email, I have to click it to confirm my order.... ERRRMMMM, 'scuse me duck but i'm sure you need to be on the internet to read your emails.

cue:- i'm sorry, we can't help you with that.
me: Beg pardon?
her:- we've sent you the email and cannot process your order until it is confirmed.
me: I DON'T ... HAVE....... INTERNET.... ACCESS!!! that's why i'm calling you!!!
her: sorry we cannot help you.
me: oh for fucks sake, fuck off. ( and hung up)

had to go up me auntys and use her 56k to check my emails and confirm it lol.

sorry for the shit pics but i've only got my phone until Mrs Stig gets in. my phone has a crap cam that doesnt zoom out very far.

97k for a 3 bed house?!

Add another 40k on top of that and you might be able to get a studio flat round here!

Looks nice - congratulations!

Thumbs Up

We have just sold our 4 year old 2 bed flat for £153k and thats the going rate easy in these them parts. You'll need more than a £100k for a one bed flat.

I can't believe you can get a house like that for 97k.

I'm so gonna have to bite the bullet and move up north.

Fucking hell, wish the property market was that cheap around here. But being the Sahf East. Which is where Winnahs are born and bread, you can't really expect it to be so low Sad

Hoping to move out in September on a joint mortgage with a mate. But will be looking at around £60,000 each (joint of £120) for a fixer upper to hopefully sell on for profit.

Well done mate, looks like you've done very well for yourself Thumbs Up

Sweet TV also Wink Got a 32" atm. Will have to upgrade to something of that magnitude with a new place.

I got the 42" version of it. Decent set.

There's a thread on AVForums with settings from people who spend ages setting it up -- I found it improved the picture big time from standard settings.

Run it in for 200 hours first, though. Oh and there's an issue with the TV when the football goes high and the crowd is the background. The ball blurs badly... and also a blurred effect occurs when you're watching a soap/film (etc) and you see a blind (as in a window blind).

You will also find as standard it'll turn itself on to install updates. You can turn this off by turning off the free view option, AnyNet (I believe).

cheers conehead.

this was a display model that I made them take off the shelf so it should already be bedded in.

will deffo be taking a gander at that forum. cheers.
