Does not matter if he's blind.

COUGH COUGH

Which we as good friends can vouch for.

Not true

Sales of goods act still applies to second hand goods and in fact the term sold as seen is a breach of your statutary rights.

The bits to remeber are:
Quote:
* of satisfactory quality - which means the product you buy should be reasonably reliable.
* fit for purpose - which means it should perform the function you bought it to do.
* as described - means it should be exactly what the trader told you it was.

So a second hand remote control car should be:

1, of satisfactory quality taking into account the price you paid
2, it should function as a remote control car
3, it should not be a banana

sorry that really made me laugh.

with the car though, bring it back and explain the situation as soon as you can and dont keep trying to use it, just incase he tries to claim you broke it.

The best way to start is by buying a kit;

It's cheaper,
You get joy from building it.
You know how to fix it as you built it.
Fixing it isn't a pain, It's more of a pleasure.

I used to race 1/8th scale, Does anyone remember the Kyosho MP 7.5? I had an EB4 S3. The car totally owned but I couldn't afford a decent engine at the time.

Thumbs Up
