brought a cbr 600 on a y plate 5 weeks ago not had chance to ride it properly. been out on it today and when its in neutral in=ts making a grinding noise but it disappears when clutch lever is pulled in. is this anything to worry about as i`m new to this biking

clutch bearing, not a problem if its a rumble, if its very loud and rattly then change it, NEXT!!!!!!

Virtually every CBR upwards from the 600F2 makes that noise in neutral.

Mine does and it had a brand new clutch fitted when I rebuilt it.

If it sounds like a dull rumbling or grinding noise it's OK, if it starts to become louder or starts tapping then a new bearing is needed.
