A little ride around North Norfolk/Lincolnshire

Got up early and went for a little spin along the Norfolk coast and through Lincolnshire all the way up to Skegness.
Unfortuantly my camera batteries ran out not long after Sutton Bridge so I only have picture to there and none of the way back.
Was a nice day, still plenty warm enough for a days riding.

Did about 150miles going as I went cross country along all the little back roads next to the wash, had a coffee and a hotdog and did 100miles on the main roads back.

Nice pics! Could I request some better pictures of the GPS mount? I can't quite see how you've got it attached there.

I'm afraid the GPS mount is bodged on.
Its supposed to clamp in the center of the handlebars, problem is the FZR has clip ons and with all the switch gear theres no room left and even if there was the GPS would hit the screen when you turned the bars.

Here are a few pics, I've just clamped it to the screen support, using some foam and gaffa tape to pad it out( a proper bodge Smile

I've thought about welding a slightly thicker piece of tube over the bit that the mount is clamped on just to tidy it up. I'm not really sure if I'l bother though as the mount is clamped solid and has no movement even on the most bumpy roads.

I've looked on the Garmin site and they don't seem to sell a mount that would fit a sports bike properly, I guess I could use the suction mount but I use that in my car.
