Hiya, just started to practise doing some wheelies on my xj600 and managed to get a picture so what you all think any tips on how to do em good on the xj, and does anyone know if it is posible to clutch it up in 2nd? cas i only mange in 1st,

thanks for your reply I am a briton Laughing it's just that it's on a un-used road there were cars parked on the left hand side so decided to go on the right, Thumbs Up

nice, looks like u need to get up into the seat a bit more, like balancing a snooker cue, weight at the top, easier to balance.

am gettin there with clutch wheelies, i used to wheelie off the throttle but i dont get very far, i wanna learn to clutch an change gear when up. better on a 600 tho rather than a 20yr old 400.

Yeah i can bring it up off the power or clutch it in 1st, carry it through 2nd and sometimes knock it into 3rd and keep it up. But the Hornet is a bloody ace wheelie bike which helps a lot.

The Diversion looks a bastard to wheelie, and the front just comes down as soon as he puts it into 2nd, not enough power me thinks.

I can now change in second while in the air Very Happy
i was out tonight giving it a few goes and i got it quite high in 1st and just knocked it into second without using the cluctch and i mangaged to keep it upo for at least 50 metres Very Happy Cool . I dont think its possible to clutch it up in second for some reason
