Hi been looking at sat navs and stuff, came across smartnav, the one with the button and the real live person to talk to. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this system.

Sounds like satnav for the mentally deficient if you ask me. What's wrong with doing it yourself. No prices on the smartnav website, and by the looks of it I'd imagine it costs about £500 a year.

Cheapest satnav is an AA road map, and 5minutes on multimap before you leave home and a printout or a hand drawn map to get you the final few miles.

I have a laptop with GPS receiver and mapping software for work, same price as a Satnav but i've got a fully loaded pc to use aswell when i'm not driving, fine it's not pocket size but it's cheap and works.
