I know this should probably be in 'Wanted' but I urgently need some transport - just something running and MOT'd. Got £300 to spend. Has anyone got anything?

300 quid might get you a chinese bike...

Look in www.adtrader.co.uk theres usually loads of chinese crap in there for pennies Thumbs Up

Still not advisable.

You should get a half decent 100cc scooter for that price,again look in the above link.
I bought my malaguti phantom 100cc 2003 in there for about£170 quid

I got my first RXS100 for £250, it did 70mph and was realiable.

I hear ya m8,im not keen on scooters myself.
But the phantom does 65mph acceleration is pretty damn good and it corners really well Thumbs Up .

The replica cg will fall to bits m8,honestly dont go that route.

Cheers mate, am pretty desprate for some transportation at present as taking the bus too and from my second job is getting a bit annoying...

Might be able to stretch to £400, there was a KH125 on Loot that was perfect but unfortunately it's been sold, and my mate who was meant to be holding onto an RXS100 for me has sold it...

my son sold his 2001 sr50 for £100 with a few months tax and test!

He needed the money for his tax on his car, keep your ears out round your local area, always college kids getting rid of cheapies! Thumbs Up

Going to get it Sunday - all-day coach trip then a 120 mile ride home in the dark Laughing

I hope I'm not putting my faith in Japanese reliability too much by expecting to make it home...

If an Italian 50 stroker can make it there and back in 1 day, I'm sure a CG could make it home!

The question still stands, whereabouts in Lancs are you?
