i use facebook, but only 'real' friends are on there... If I want to speak to a forum member (on whichever forum) I'll PM them

I don't see the point in people collecting friends online just to get a number. Unless you actually know the folk, does it matter if you know that someone's just gone for a poo or has had a coffee?

Same as Feef, I use facebook but I only add people I actually know on there, I have details like my mobile number on there and what not, people on BCF who I don't know have no need for these details. Unless they're a hot female in which case I would consider accepting the add.

I use Facebook, but I only have real life people I have met and consider "friends". I think it's stupid if you have 500 people on there that you have never met, or even spoken too.

The one thing that has been nice about Facebook for me was being able to get in touch with friends from Youth Orchestra and school that I would have otherwise completely lost contact with.

I opened a facebook account, then after getting hundreds of emails from boring people i had allowed to be my friends, asking if i wanted to do a lookalike or be bitten by a zombie and countless streams of other sh*t. I closed it.
Seemed like a good idea at first, but really its just pandering to the modern disease of wanting to be famous.

I have all 3 my myspace is in my siggi, i dont bother with face book i check it every now and again. Also have bebo as most the local poeple i know are on that close friends. Myspace is a boredom buster sometimes for me.
