LAN (local area network) PARTY

a few of my friends have set up a LAN party in southampton.
im going but they need more people.
its gunna be from 10am to 10pm over 3 days and it will be about £3 per hour.

the company running it will provide state of the art PC's

games i know will be running so far are :-

Unreal tournament 2003
Counter strike
Serious sam
Command and conqour (dunno which ones)
Warcraft 3

and im told there will be alot more first person shooters but im yet to find out which ones??

so any one intrested??

sounds like fun, I don't play games much anymore and I hate strategy games so thats C&C and warcraft out.

But 12hrs for 3days...at £3 you mean you stay for a whole 3days?!! thats like £108 and surely you'd die of boredom after 8hours?

No point. The hardware to support it/ utalise it would be too expensive. And you wouldnt actually be able to use it all. The speed you would be downloading media would be soo much faster than you could watch it.

Although you start a hosting buisness to pay for it Very Happy

I read about some guy who got fed up with no ADSL, he bought a fat leased line, and setup a wiresless network around his village, over 802.11b for people to buy access to Very Happy
