hi i have a xl 125 1982 which has lost almost all compression and is also burning lots of oil,
my guess is the piston rings are warn so will be taking the engine out and stripping for inspection tomorrow the only problem is i cant seem to find the cam chain tensioner , usually it is on the left hand side on the cylinder but i cant see anything.
if any one knows how to slacken the cam chain please let me know, thanks.
