Anyone fitted handlebar muffs to a bike with clipons?

Has anyone does it? Freezing my hands has got to the point now where I would rather look silly and have them than not feel my fingers.

I leave for work at 11pm and return at 7am thats cold o'clock to freezing o'clock.

I put moto-x brush guards on my GPZ500. Had to bodge them a wee bit to get them to fit but they kept the worst of the wind blast off.

Yeah, no problem. I found that muffs on both the 600 and Blade work better than on bikes with more conventional bar arrangements.

For instance the RXS100 was ok until about 50-60mph when the muffs start to curl over and simultaneously push on the clutch and front brake levers. Not helpful. The Diversion wasn’t much better with poor options for attaching the muffs leading them to move around too much.

I was sceptical that the muffs would even fit on the Blade considering how little clearance there is when the bars are on full lock, but in the end they fitted just fine.

I find that summer gloves work best with the muffs. Good feel is imperative.

I had them on my gixxer600 too. Problem for me was they seemed to push the brake lever.

Last night I resurrected them for my CB500. They're too narrow to fit over the bar ends and the switch gear. So I just cut holes in the sides for the bar ends to stick out. Now they fit and, as a bonus, they don't flap back into the levers either!
