Hello all, after a very boring year of not riding I couldn't bear it any longer and bought myself a hack (not for the price in the ebay ad mind)

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270176351249&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm37%26satitle%3D270176351249%26fvi%3D1

Not a bad bike at all really. I haven't had a ago as it hasn't got MOT, Tax or insurance but I can't wait. Last bike I had was a bandit 400 so this should be a little quicker.

The Exhaust sounds ace now I've taken the baffle out Twisted Evil
I'm not quite sure what I am going to do with it at the moment. I think I'm going to get a jack up kit for it, I already have a set of risers so on with some renthals and ditch that stupid headlight (although it does look a lot better in real life). The question is, do I go classic twin spots or a acerbis enduro fairing (the ones with the twin halogen bulbs).

What would you do?

(I'll get some pics up soon but for now there are the ones in ebay link)

Erm... I'm not quite sure what you mean but I bought it for a reason, cos it's cheap like the budgie... I don't intend on spending money on it, only a few quid and then well, ride the thing? obviously it's been down the road...

What a bargain! A road worthy modern-ish 750cc bike with 20k miles on it.

For under £250!

I say ride it till it dies then throw it away. Smile

Na cost me 500 actually lol, still in eyes a good deal, other than the obvious crash some one has looked after this bike, apart from the scratches everything mechanically is sound and is pretty clean. I've been looking for something similar for ages, was going for a 600 but they all have high mileage, nasty nocks and rattles at that price. The full stainless system sounds sweet too. good tyres and brakes all round - happy days

But yeah, I have bought it as something to ride not to restore.

Ah sorry, I misread what you wrote. I thought you said you got it for less than the eBay price.

Still not bad for £500. Stick it through an MOT, get rid of that pig-ugly headlight thing and ride it on one wheel everywhere until it dies.

Cool cool, yeah I can't play around with it until I go home which isn't until the 15th of December (pretty rubbish)

It just means that I can buy goodies for it and then sort it out over the christmas holidays. So far I have a set of Renthals, twin spots (delivered for 27.50, not bad me thinks) and a jack up kist. I gonna have a bash at polishing the frame and swing arm and might see about getting it braced just because it looks cool, also a 17inch rear wheel wouldn't go a miss. I might get it painted (dads friend is a painter) but then again the paint on there isn't too bad.

Roll on the 15th of December Thumbs Up
