the plan:
find out how many miles/km's i can get per litre/gallon/main tank/reserve tank, to ensure i dont ever run out in the middle of the night on a country road while its raining
basically i wanna know where your bike uses the most fuel and where it uses the least, and what journey should i do, in order to run the tank dry (at which point i can note down the mileage, switch to reserve, run that dry, then fill it up again from a petrol can i will be carrying)
the easiest way i reckon would be to just burn down the motorway until you run out, but im pretty sure you use more fuel stopping and starting in regular riding than you do at a constant speed on the motorway
so where do you burn the most
-Congested city riding, like london
-Stop start commuting
-A roads
-Motorways
-Parked in a traffic jam
?????
and what route would you recommend for me to test my tank range, obviously i would do it more than once to get an average, but i dont want it to take me all day
suggestions... thanks ____________________ So in other words, he stopped you for being flagrantly in posession of a motorcycle in direct contravention of the Hippies, Darkies and People Whose Face I Don't Like The Look of (Police Powers) Act. 1976 |

Burn most has got to be stop starting |
