Ok guys, quite simply, my old man will sub me until that cheque comes through for the Kwak.

Here's my options...

I have £2500 limit, im looking for something that is on par with the ZX7R in terms of running costs.
Looks wise, well i dislike any SRAD, any white and blue paint job and hate over the top race reps. I want either a Super sport, a supermoto/enduro.
Bikes that you shoulnt even mention to me, a Ducati, any SRAD, any touring type thing.

I'd love a GSXR750 from what ive been told but the closest paint job to something i like is silver and black and that looks really bland on the GSXR, i wouldnt give it a second look.
No one has a ZX7R like mine, they are either rank colours schemes or mistreated. Any black ones have been ruined with weird accesories by the looks of things.

At the top of the scale the Mille and SP1 are well out of my insurance range for some reason, where as the TLR which i've always wanted is only £45 more a year! Confused
Im drawn to the TLR so much but a lot of people have put me off.

Finally, i love black bikes Cool Thumbs Up

To be fair Killa, your original ZX7R was unbeatable. I don't think i've liked any other ones.

Well if i got this one, all id have to do is take of the stickers.
Put the single seat cowel from my old one to this one, the number plate stay goes, indicators replaced and then the exhaust system from the old one will go on. Thumbs Up

You know you want another 7R Wink

I do like SRADS and would love to grab those phat humps and give it the beans, but I get where you're coming from and if you want something different then think outside the box.

I see one of these parked at the hospital a few times and the size is quite compact and looks like the 'bad relative' that no one mentions at family reunions. The hard unfaired / faired look, twin cans and right sided chain make it a break from the norm.

I'd go with the TLR mate, you've been looking for one, ignore the horror stories and just test ride one, see what you think!

I've seen a few tidy ~2000 ZX9s going for the 2 grand mark lately, Speed in Exeter had one that was sorely tempting but its gone now Sad

I do like them, but know nothing about them.
I really liked my 7R and have this oppotunity for a nice standard one for cheap.

Very nice looking bike, i imagine they are pretty bullet proof.

I am tempted by a TLR but i really didnt want to get rid of the Ninja like this.
I think im going to give this a go and try adn re-incarnate her!

And then some. The last Blade from Tadao Baba, so still retains the practicalities of the earlier models, as well as a build quality I don't think's been bettered by the later 1000 incarnates.

Haven't seen on for £2.5k though.
