Come on then, time for a non emo thread.

How do you see other riders/owners of brands. Mine are based on sportsbike owners and a few people off here Wink

Suzuki Riders - Most are nutters who love to wheelie and rape and kill kittens. The older riders are laid back as they had their fun on the original Gixxer's, some have a limp from where they had a little to much fun on them.

Kawasaki Riders - Arrogant bastards who only believe in one brand and feel the need to moan about all other bikes Laughing Wink

Honda Riders - Two types here, old before there time enjoy a pipe and wearing slippers when not bumbling around discussing sat nav and how much mpg their bike gets. And the ones who used to be nutters on the old school blade and now own the new one and are more laid back but still have it in them for a good hoon.

Yamaha Riders - Well they have stolen the title for the most accessorised bikes from the srad crew for their r6's and r1's also classed as nutters.

400 owners - Can't except the fact their bikes are out of date, keep bringing up the arguement a 400 is better than a 600, well maybe back in the 80's and early 90's but modern 600's are better people. Get a real bike. Wink

Harley Riders - Bah, don't have enough time to describe them.

I'm a 400 rider and I know my bike is'nt as fast as a 600.

Granted it can out handle some 600's of its era, but its not faster. I have it because if i can use 75% of its performance without being banned!

Im also a kawasaki owner, but I dont feel loyal to one brand, ive owned suzuki's in the past and would quite like many other bikes!

The only thing I class my self is as a bike rider xxxxxx

Because we know that it ARE MADE OF WIN! Cool. It's something called brand loyalty after having been on a honda, not my cup of tea, yamahahahaaha - sorry didn't make me laugh . I aint tried a suzuki yet, but a good one might tempt me.

Admittedly, kawasaki is the jap equivalent to a ducati i would say - a purist's brand. Gone are the days now when all they produced were bonkers sportsbikes (mid to late 90's) but the build quality and soul is in the ranks with the duke ownership. You don't buy a kwak to ride a honda now do you?

How dare you stereotype a broad selection of rider character traits without including a comment of those suffering from OCD.

Ahh that's where we're different, I'm going for the image of anti social wanker, and riding like one. Laughing

Armoured jacket, usually with a Streetfighters hoodie over the top, shoei (with black visor of course) jeans, sometimes skate shoes, and sometimes boots. Thumbs Up

I've figured that's because the majority don't have a helmet that fits and when they do pull it on it only just comes below their ears.

I think all manufacturers had they mad moments and the bikes looked very different indeed.
It's a shame Suzuki have done what they have, it's a lovely shape, but for super sports id like something different.

KAWASAKI!!!!! Thumbs Up Mr. Green Thumbs Up

I don't really think I fit into a category. I ride old upright bikes - one 100cc Yamaha, one 400cc Honda (that isn't strictly legal). I've just got rid of the Jawa 350 - wonder what the stereotype for them would be? Laughing (shh... I'm very tempted to get another one, one that actually works this time...)

As for gear, most of the time these days it's an old brown coat, multi-coloured scarf, jeans, trainers, nitro lid, Oakley goggles. Don't know what that makes me either!

And I haven't just bought a flowery caberg breeze...

They're NOT slippers, they're moccasins.

With Hondas it rather depends on the bike as to whether or not it's a pipe-and-slippers mobile.

A mate of mine has a Firestorm with baffle-less cans and it sounds like an earthquake - it managed to make a small kid cry when we rode under a railway bridge once. It isn't exactly slow either.

If you're talking something like a CBF600 then yeah, pipe and slippers!

Honda riders, middle aged men, trying to re-live their youth

Suzuki riders, early 20's thinking they have something to prove

Harley riders, been there done that want to enjoy the scenery they ride through

Kawasaki riders, late 20's trying to prove to Suzuki riders they still got what it takes to keep up

Yamaha riders, got nothing to prove, already done it

400 riders, youngsters just passed their test working their way up to a Suzuki

BMW/ Goldwing riders, too far up their own backsides to care what others think
