I have a full motorcycle license, and i am now starting to learn to drive, does the full bike license count as a provisional car license or do i need to send off for another one?

Your counterpart to your license (the green paper thing) will have a section on it that tells you what provisional licenses you have.
The car one is category B

if you dont have it you can fill a form in at your post office to apply for one. Or ring the DVLA up

The P is a moped not exceeding 50cc and 50kmph

I have full bike and car yet my paper counterpart still has the bike catagory in the provisional entitlements, I can see that being fun when i apply to change my licence for whatever reason. Thankfully i have my full bike pass certificate, my card also shows full bike entitlement and will get an endorsed photcopy before i send anything! Too many horror stories out there about people loosing thier bike entitlement due to DVLA incompetence.
