How the hell do you have an accident between a car and a motorcycle where the motorcyclist is uninjured yet the car driver has whiplash?

"suspected " probably more to do with liability and being on the safe side than being sued later on.

But then I've heard plenty of stories of head on collisions at high speed where the rider was catapulted into a nearby field and all the occupants of the car were severely injured.

Do you think that's down to dissipating the energy, I mean the rider decelerates slowly but the vehicle occupants decelerate quickly incurring higher G's ?

it's funny how the media are always giving people the impression that
it wasn't the drivers fault and drivers are the victim in a car-bike crash.
like this report. it almost gives u the impression that the women was the victim.

True,

"A police motorcyclist was involved in a minor collision with a member of the public."

Although it was the car in a collision with the bike. Rolling Eyes

oh no nothing like that ,

bike hits and breaks into many bits which are catapulted forward by momentum which act like a giant shotgun

Wiplash will have been from the speed she will have spun her head round when she heard the crunch..... Or from her m/phone hitting her head.

Lets hope she gets hammered for DD.

It still amazes me how so many people fail to see/hear even with blues and 2 going full belt...

Funnily enough my cousin's mate reversed into a copper car in a petrol station. How the hell she hit a car with big flourescent stickers all over it I'll never know. Good thing she's coming to mine for christmas dinner, at least it'll not be boring.
