Does any one have any info of what the bike licensing is going to be when it changes in October ?
As in the restrictions and all that.
Or is it the same with a harder test ?
Thanks for the help ____________________ ◙◙► K6 GSXR 600 ◄◙◙◙◙► K5 GSXR 1000 ◄◙◙◙◙► K5 GSXR 600 ◄◙◙◙◙► 96 RF600r ◄◙◙

This is starting to sound like LWR, in that Me n Mike/Andy seem to be the only full licence holders for this tour! ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. are they changing anything in january, i read a while ago that they were changeing the restricted license law, you can ride 33bhp for 2 years and then you need to take anoither test? true? false?
so theres no rush to get you test in before january? ____________________ follow my racing season

i heard they are raising the unlimited license to 24 as well. Still 2 years limited though, so doing your test at 17 still gets you a full unrestricted license at 19, but after searching i cant see that mentioned.
It is basically including an additional CBT that you have to pass, riding round cones etc etc before you get out onto the road for your actual test. As well as the emergency stop at a minimum speed. 2 chances on that one I believe. Can see why they are doing that because i was told to go no faster than 25mph.
The guy that taught me didnt seem to impressed with what they were doing. As prices would have to go up. They are reducing the number of test centers as well so they can fit the new facilities in.
The closest one to me (blackpool) would be blackburn. Although that hasnt been confirmed yet.
The problem they have with all vehicle tests is that due to the system used you are taught to pass a test, not how to ride / drive. It is less apparent with the bikes, but for cars you are taught how to pass your test, not how to drive in the real world. ____________________ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
