not a great deal, two strokes drink fuel like mad. On my RGV250 I get about 25mpg, and on my Gas Gas Pampera which is a 220cc single, I get about 28mpg.

But, I think that scooters will use more, as the engine is at higer revs more of the time. I'd take an educated guess at about 25 ish MPG.

{edit} not to mention a litre of £12 fully synth every six to eight tanks of fuel... {edit}

im hoping that scooters are tuned more for economy than the bikes you mentioned, but this may be wishful thinking

Laughing

Its the ultimate boy racer scooter. A 180cc runner won the Moped Madness at Lydden Hill at the beginning of this year...

yeah i know its the ultimate boy racer scooter, thats why i want one. i want something nippy for slow speed filtering, but with enough power for a little stretch of dual carriageway, and for pulling away quickly

its gonna be quite a bit more than the more sensible 4 stroke vxr 200 though

a runner 180 2 stroke will do about 85-100 miles to a tank which is a tiny bit more then 2 gallons

my 4 stroke does between 125 -160 miles for the same money

Will probably depend on what state of tune the engine is in - do you know how much power it develops?

My RXS100 does about 90mpg in normal use, but if you really cane it I've had that down to 60-65mpg.
