Truly amazing and worth the wait.

2007 has been pretty crappy for action games. But this is easily my favorite game out this year.

Toby has been banging on about how much he loves it cause he got it early Laughing Crying or Very sad

I got it on PC as I prefer PC for the multiplayer and I am not disappointed though they need to mess with the settings cause at its current rate maps are only lasting 2 - 5 mins.

Single player is fantastic, the graphics really make it.

Speaking of graphics this game actually has gameplay to back them up Cool

10/10 Karma

Any other fans ?

Oh, c'mon. What graphics card you got? You can tell me. Even if it's just a little 5-series. It's how you use it that counts, right? Laughing

I've played the demo and won't be buying the full game.

It's just another fully-scripted shooter on rails, with absurd numbers of enemy AI coming at you. One house can hold as many armed maniacs as a football stadium, and they come at you in a carefully metered stream such that you have no time to stop and think and enjoy the scenery. Or conserve ammo.

Such an environment precludes any kind of realistic tactics or strategy. It's squeeze the trigger, hold it, re-load and repeat. Until you're out of ammo or killed.

And you will be killed, repeatedly, because you are faced with countless enemies, from whom no amount of skilled sneakiness can hide you, who never miss, and never stop coming. Until the script decides enough is enough.

Arcade bunkum. Fun if you like that kind of thing, but has no place on the PC. This kind of game is what consoles were made for. The PC is for intelligent games that have depth and require skill.

Well from what I've played there's no infinite spawns whatsoever... And you /can/ be stealthy.

Downloaded the demo last night and was quite impressed. It was very short with only around 30mins of playtime, but it seemed pretty good. As for graphics I ran it on everything max with no slow down at all. As with all the other COD games everything is very fluid with awesome gameplay.

I will probably buy it, but Gears Of War comes out for PC this friday and that was awesome on 360 just a lack of mouse and keyboard. Multiplayer should be awesome Mr. Green. Extra graphics for PC aswell Thumbs Up.

Seems like a pretty forgiving game in terms of specs, a core 2 duo with an X1950pro was able to run the demo fine at full settings. Stunning game though Thumbs Up

I liked it well enough. The graphics certainly are amazing. Doubt I'll be buying it, though. Time will tell.

I haven't seen or played a PC/console game that actually was actually worth my time since Splinter Cell 3.

Games are so generic these days that other than better graphics I cannot understand how people are not bored of them yet.

You obviously dont play the right games Wink.

Just look at the Half-life 2 Series along with Portal and TF2 in the Orange Box. All original games and very good.
