I have an NC29 with a Scorpion can on it now it has passed previous MOT`s with this on and my next MOT is up soon so it should be okay, but after the MOT I was thinking of removing the DB killer how much louder are they without this in ? will I get pulled striaght away ?

I've been running a Scorpion race can on the CBR for ages , (the new system has a removable baffle) , I've yet to be stopped and I've paced bike cops , filtered around cop cars etc.

If you do see cops a common trick is to go up a gear or two and or clutch in and bimble past them.

Has it got a DB killer fitted or is it the type with removable baffles? Ususally they are fixed with either a couple of pop rivets that need drilling out or maybe a couple of screws.

If its a non removable baffle forget it unless you want to start taking the can apart.

You won't get pulled unless you ride like a prat near the Police, just normal riding will be ok but giving it some it will be loud.

I have a scorpion can on my cbr with a removable baffle in the end just held in with a bolt. Removing this will make it louder, and as it is easily removable there will be a slight boost in performance, but will this be a noticeable difference? I'd assume not (especially as I have no idea if the carbs etc. have been set up for the exhaust)

Yep. It's just an allen bolt and they don't make it that much louder. My akra on my Hornet was louder and I never got pulled for that so you'll be fine.
