So i was supposed to have my car practical on friday at about 12. Get a call on thursday at 3 saying there's a problem at the wycombe test centre and they cant take me out. Earliest they could book it was 4th of December, i said 'that far away? I've waited enough'. She replies with 'its less than a week away.' 'you have a calendar there, use it'

It also seems they booked it near a time that my driving instructor already has a test. So i obviously can't use the car. His ADI number is on there aswell. Rolling Eyes

*2 posts because of character limit when posting on my phone*

Today my instructor has been looking for the closest date and earliest he could find was 8th of Jan!

I mean WTF? I have to give them a weeks notice or i lose the test fee yet they cancel with less than 24 hours to go and nearest date is the 8th?

Wankers Middle Finger

End rant

So even though your paying them to get this sorted(comes with the job description) they're being twats? why does that not surprise me.

Closest I could get my car was for 7th Jan..... at the start of december.

My Sister-in-law eventually passed her test, she took her test in her own car which is a second hand Pug 306. On her first test the examiner asked for a recall certificate on the car which occurred during the previous owners time. Alas no certificate to show, the test was cancelled but she managed to get a refund though.

Don't know what to say. Laughing

I should pass this time. No reason not to unless something really unusually abnormal happens. Smile

Makes me laugh when people use the pass quota myth, if you drive shit you fail, drive good you pass.

Thats all there is to it.

A lad i know recently had he's test, he failed as soon as he pulled out from the test center without checking. Laughing

It is nice to get all the tests out the way, especially as things can get confusing like the op. Have you checked for cancellations, you may be lucky & get a date that you can use he's car.

I was quite lucky to pass my car test in hindsight.

The last manoveure of my test was to reverse into the parking space at the test centre, but unknown to me and the examiner, the rear tyres were actually touching to kerb behind me.

I got out of the car and my instructer was like "shit you were lucky". Laughing

Haha, well It may work, but the examiner could be grumpy with it being early and fail you. Razz

Saying that I did pass my 2nd test and that was the first of the day! Very Happy

Tried, roughly the same date and I don't know Aylesbury test routes while I do know Wycombe test routes.

Never said it was my instructors fault, we are both cursing the DSA for being such wankers. Less than 24 hours notice? Bastards.

stelmer wrote:

I can get a refund for the test but then I won't sit the test and I will get a refund for the lessons from the DSA, as my instructor said that it's not the first time they've done it and won't be the last.
