Hi, i bought an NSR125, it needed a lot of work but i've gotten all that done, but it tops out at 120kph. d lad i bought it off said he always got 150 - 160kph. i changed front and back sprockets but no difference only in power. i have it de-restricted.d work needed was new piston and rings, cylinder polished, serviced and strangely it wont run on d normal plug but only on a hotter graded plug. any ideas bout how to get the speed up?

So you bought a bike that would do 160kph (100mph) and after spending a lot of money it will now only do 120kph (75mph). Rolling Eyes

Well think you have been had. My lads 50cc will beat that, it does 160kph no probs!!! Laughing Well thats what he tells his mates. He is full of bullshit just like the seller of you bike must have been. My Mito would do 95mph (150kph) no problem, and that was standard.

Think you need to call it quits and realise that maybe it is fast enough, as 75 mph is above the national speed limit anyway.

Also commas are not a substitute for a full stop. The word is with not wit and d is not a substitute for the Tut Tut
