Well kinda. I dont consider it a crash as I got up, picked bike up and away I went.

Basically went to visit a friend who lives in the middle of nowhere about an hour ago, On the way back through the country lanes was going about 15mph around this easy corner and then the back just slid out. Turns out theres crap on the road Evil or Very Mad Picked the bike up (surprisingly easy for 200kg Question ) then just carried on.

What should I look for in damage? The clutch lever is now a little bent at the end but I doubt I will bother to replace, it doesnt look any different. The casing bit under the carbs is scratched but nothing else is wrong. I think I pretty much let it down gently after I realised it was wrong. On the way back on the duel carriageway it sounded fine, let the steering go at ~50 and it didn't swerve to either side, so presumably the forks and steering malarky is fine, and theres pretty much no scratching apart from that bit on the engine.
Anything else I should check?

Ah, that sucks.

Hope there's only minor scuffs on both you and the bike.

Check what headlight bulbs you're using... You should be able to see things before you ride into them.

Yes. Im aware. But Is it wrong to assume that water looking substances in the road are water and indeed not watered down crap?

I think its just scuffs, I've got a bleeding knee but s'all good. I just don't want to have damaged my bike.

I'm taking it to get restricted in a couple of days, I'll probably just get them to have a quick look over and check its in working order.
