Help !!

Ok people start of october i booked my training and bike test for the end of November and i was told it was booked and they would email me with the details, like paying, times....ect ect . Anyway i have no such email so i assumed they had messed me around, anyway just listened to a message left on my homephone yesterday it seems i missed my training yesterday and my test is on the wednesday ( tomorrow) and they wanted me to contact ASAP . Any way gonna ring first thing in the morning to see what they say. To cut a long story short if i indeed have my test tomorrow ( which i doubt i do ) i have had no training and any advice would be a great help

Unlucky and I hope you can sort it out.
If you're not riding on the road on something now and haven't had training I suspect you may find the test difficult. Done your theory yet?

If you haven't paid anything then I would tell them politely to bollocks. They can't expect you to be telepathic if they haven't let you know whats what and when everything was arranged for. On the other hand, if you knew that it was supposed to be near the end of November and you still hadn't heard anything why didn't you chase it up?

If you havent paid it is very unlikely you are booked in.
Riding schools openly book slots and just book people in once they have paid.

for a right turn- mirrors, indicator, shoulder check, move into position, then a final shoulder check to check for overtaking cars then turn in. (I think, its been a while since my test)

left turn- same as right but you don't actually need to do any shoulder checks unless you feel you need to.

If you are going to pull away from a standstill always mirror, indicator, shoulder check.

Keep one bike length between you and the car in front when you stop.

check your mirrors whenever its safe to do so.

Take your time and don't be rushed. Remember that your test can only be a certain length so don't be in a rush if you get stuck in traffic

U-turns are easy...
Emergency stop is easy just don't lock the back wheel and it doesn't matter if you stall...

Get into the correct lane for roundabouts early you your not rushed.

Oh yea and dont forget shoulder checks all the time, they saved my ass once when changing lanes on a dual carriageway.

(it's been a while since i did my test so if i got anything wrong then don't hesitate to correct me )
