This afternoon my bike was reversed into and knocked over by an indian gentleman in the main car park at work. There is minimal damage ( thank got for crash bungs) but what has annoyed me is he drove off.

It was all caught on cctv, he reversed into it, knocked it over, got out of his car attempted to pick the bike up but couldnt then drove off.

He didnt report the accident to security or to me ( he knows its my bike ) which has really annoyed me. The police seemed pretty uninterested as it was on private land and security arent too bothered either.

Tomorrow is revenge time. I have 20 meters of lifting chain at work which im going to thread through his wheels then padlock it shut, leave a note on his windscreen telling him where the keys are (in my pocket).
Then when he comes to see me im going to ask him to explain his actions.

The bloke i work with are disgusted by him as we all thought he was a decent person.

Anyway there will be pictures of the revenge tomorrow so you can all have a good giggle at them.

It can be equally funny to confront him, very loudly and more importantly very publically. Smile

Revenge is sweet, but remember it can easily twist round onto you.
2 wrongs dont make a right, makes you feel a hell of a lot better, but doesnt make it right. Smile

The chain isnt to cause damage, its to stop him driving off and so that he comes to see me. When he leaves work its my lunchtime so he will have to come see me in the canteen with 15+ other fitters sat in there.

Methinks he will be a tad shy.....

Considering it's on cctv is it worth possibly loosing your job over.

Can you not contact your insurance and get them to sue him privately for damage if the police can't be assed doing their job? You have cctv so he has no get out clause

Damage to the bike = £80 tops, Excess = £250

Its not something I will lose my job over!

Lol I guess tripping his car over is just like him knocking your bike over.

Make sure he can see the chains and doesn't try and drive off. A friend recently lost her wheel trim when someone took it off (as a joke) and left it on the floor next to her wheel and she didn't notice!

You don't pay any excess if you claim off him as a third party. You only pay an excess if you claim off your own policy.

If he didn't notice your bike before knocking it over, I reckon he's got no chance of seeing the chain and'll try to drive off Laughing
