Has anybody here had any experience with Gaerne boots? If so what are your experiences, in particular the G.RW AQUATECH?

Thanks for any help.

no experience with the aquatech, but I have a pair of Gaerne boots and they have been great. comfy and sturdy for day to day riding etc. and not too bad in bad weather either. will keep my feet dry and fairly warm for a good length of time.

My old boots were a pair of standard Gaerne race boots, as you can see to the right of the pic. The lasted about a year and a half of courering 10 hours a day in all weather... They werent waterproof and on occasion filled up on the wet days, but they dident claim to be and my god were they comfortable, Once broken in mine gave a really good fit, comfy to wear all day.

I am also 100% sure that they saved me from a broken right shin when a van took me off and i smacked into a raised kurb on the kings road SW6. So great protection, All day comfortable, look good IMO.

The toe just under the metal slider wore away on mine, but thats due in part to naughtiness and due to the fact i used to drag my right toe.

The only reason i switched to my current Sidi B2's is because they are very very waterproof... But i must say even though my sidi's are excellent also those gaernes were more comfortable...

I would say give them a go, if their waterproof ones are anything like the standard race boots you wont go far wrong Thumbs Up
