well i got a k1-k2 engine and dont know if it runs but im gonna take a risk and get a cheap frame if I can, and then a loom and ecu and check it runs if all is well I might try and build it as special,,, is this possible or shall I stop dreaming now?

Depends how handy you are with the spanners. Although I would have thought a carbbed bike would be much easier + cheaper to get running if you were building from scratch.

I think you should perhaps look into the costs of all this before you start.

An ECU, that's gotta be a fair old wedge.

K1 750 frames are still going to be a few hundred for a decent straight on. Then you have wheels, discs, swingarm, sub-frame etc. etc.

I don't think it's as easy as is sounds, but if you have the commitment, inclination and the budget I'd say go for it!

not to say that you have to put the engine in a gsxr frame, or even fuel inject it,
i dare say, with a bit of tootling about you could have a fairly cool bike,
all you need is a rolling chassis of some thing, and a fair bit of time.
if it were me i'd give it a go, not to say that i'd succeed Very Happy

get a unfinished project for the same amount of a frame, wheels, ecu, carbs etc etc. buying peice by peice will cost you, buy one with a blown engine or crash damaged or the like and fighter it!!!! thats the way its done.
