Just had a bit of a funny day with my riding.

First 'incident' was when I stopped at the lights. filtered to the front and was sat between a BMW M5 and some other car. But I started falling and went to put my foot down. Oh shit - My trouser leg is caught on the kickstart and I'm falling towards a brand new shiny black M5. Luckily I managed to just get my leg free and put it down just in time. phew - that shit me up!

Then, on the way back, coming up a hill behind a car which slows down on a give way line. I go to slow down and am about to stop, so flick into first, but hit neutral instead without realising (as clutch is in).
So start revving to pull away and realise. Flick into 1st and vrooooom, front wheel just lifts up for a few seconds as I wheelie away with the wheel going from left to right infront of me Laughing. Bugger me. Twice in one journey that I get shit up.

Need to start concentrating more it seems!

My feelings go out to you on that post Laughing been there and done it and felt like a complete newb again.

I bought a new bike this week and had to ride it home 60 miles in the peeing down rain on roads I dont know at 10:30pm. That day was just one of those days Laughing

After one such day of mishaps I nearly booked myself back in for a refresher Laughing

Imagine what it was like in the 70s when all bikes had kickstarts and we all wore flares?

when its falling over like that you can just blip the throttle a bit clutch out and it should stand up, and buy you a bit of time.
