I was wondering how hard it would be to implement a new (negative) rating in the karma system for posts that are difficult to read?

This wouldn't be for full on grammar/spelling nazi use but to try and clean up the forum a little. I'm starting to get annoyed at people posting without making any effort to make their posts easily readable by other people. It especially takes the piss when they are asking for help yet won't spend the extra 5 seconds of effort to use capital letters, sentences, the spell checker or paragraphs.

Please note: I'm not a grammar nazi and not expecting perfectly worded posts. Actually I will try and give an example by rewriting this very post in the awfulness that I am trying to describe.

Even though I tried as hard as I could it didn't turn out anywhere near as badly as I wanted.

I believe it is called 'confusing'.

Thumbs Down This post is Confusing:
Use this reason if you had trouble understanding the poster due to bad spelling / grammar / punctuation.

I'm starting to get annoyed at people posting suggestions on ratings without reading the ratings guidelines. It especially takes the piss when they are asking for a change yet won't spend the extra 5 seconds of effort to read the ratings guidelines to check if it already exists.

I was half-tempted to sticky your suggestions thread, but then I realised I'd be cruely taking away your life's purpose of replying to every thread in here. Wink

A new positive rating of "Lucky f*cker" would be better. "Cool", "Underrated" and "Funny" just don't cut it sometimes.

Nice double post. Wink

Calling someone pal or mate is one way to piss of people off and I find it very arrogant especially as you are neither old enough to be classed as a 'pal' or even a friend for that matter more an internet user.

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 18 years, 65 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
