If, like me, you don't have a garage, taking care of your pride and joy through the winter turns into a bit of a nightmare!
Well, I've just picked up one of these;

Big enough for two bikes, or one and plenty of space to work round it.
It comes with a load of pegs, but they're not much good, so I've made some bigger longer ones out of half inch bar and nailed it down in the back garden. It seems pretty robust (for a big plastic bag), and with an electric radiator in there it gets quite warm even at night. As it's clear, my outside flood-light lights up the inside pretty well.
Just an idea, no connection to the vendor etc.

£23.50 plus the postage (which isn't cheap, but it IS big and bulky, and it arrived within 48hours).
I think they charge in the forties for 'Buy It Now', and that'll be plus postage too I guess.
In the summer it'll probably be used for tomatoes and peppers

£40 is still cheaper than some bike covers.

I think it is very similar, materials and all. I like the arched top on mine as it gives a bit more headroom, and it's inherently stronger. I'm probably going to gaffer tape up the vents, and maybe even add some extra eyelets for pegging down. Maybe threading some metal rod into the bottom hem would give an even stronger place to peg it down from. I might even sink in a nice big ground anchor to give the scum a hard time.
I'll take a picture of it with the bike in tomorrow so you can get an idea of the space.
