Mclaren are getting completely fooked over right now.

Renault got away scot free even though they were effectively guilty of the same thing.

Formula 1 is turning out to be one huge corrupt enterprise.

I'm baffled as to how they are going to make a car for next year that doesn't contain ferrari technology as they all look much the same to me. I think they'll have to build something radically different methinks.

McLaren's only crime was to get caught. Apparently every team does it on a regular basis.

The whole reason that Mclaren are getting shafted is because Ron Dennis had the temerity to threaten the FIA and F1 with the big teams leaving if they didn't get a bigger slice of the revenues that F1 generates for Bernie and Max, and then set up a break away series.

Max and Bernie had to do some fast talking to get Ferrari on board with them and not Ron, this is why Ferrari have three seats on the adjudication body whereas everyone else gets 1. Ferrari have basically been given a green light to do what they like in F1 for backing Bernie and Max. Ron didn't like this but still tried to get a bigger slice of the pie with the other teams backing. Ron had already got the backing of Mercedes, Honda and Toyota, but the likes of Williams and Jordan/Midland/Spyker would have been effectively shut down. They sided with Max and Bernie after gaining assurances of equality in the rules for future seasons and Ron was basically fucked.

Max and Bernie have been getting their spiteful little own back on Ron ever since and it will continue as long as they are in charge of not only F1, but the FIA too.

Maybe you should just ignore it and watch something interesting instead. That way it doesn't really matter.
