Shocked

All my lights are off in my house and i was huddled in my corner with my computer in the the other room when I happened to look out and see 4 chavs emerging from behind my mates van as he left it there and everyone is out. They then where heading down the side of my neighbours house directly in front of me. Hoods all up and dark tracksuits on with dirty trainers on, yuk.

I stood up and they caught a glimpse of me and had to call two of their mates who had gone down the back of house. No one is in my neighbours house.

In fact only one neighbor out of the 6 houses in this cul de sac are in apart from me and they had their curtains shut and didnt look like they where in as they do.

they seen me and split! kept looking bag and hiding their faces anyway. Called the police to have a look, took me 15 mins to get to speak to someone as apparently there was no one in the station Shocked

they did come up and have a drive about anyway.

very paranoid now. Have warned one neighbor as no one is still back yet, they are old poeple and i know they will be scared now after this, they dont have side gates like us and i only found that out and i know these ones knew that.

they probaby of robbing someone elses house around here now Twisted Evil

they seen me though and i couldn't get a good look at faces for the hoods, i aint scared i have a big dog anyway but just paranoid now. There are no chavs in this estate living here mostly retired poeple, clergy members and families with younger nice children.

They did rob up here one year 19 times in one week!

Hummm may not be a bad idea that. I know they only came up to drive about the once and they where well done by that time. Still bloody paranoid here. They not come near me there are signs all over warning of a guard dog and she makes her presence known. Wish I could have set the dog on them but they probably injure her or sue me.

19 times in one week. Not a year. Happens every year up here. Lots of backroads and escape routes and dark places with unsuspecting poeple.

Neighbours dont really talk to each other here keep themselves to themselves. But i feel like I am neighborhood watch sometimes as i am paranoid enough to be watching every move that goes on here. I see suspicious cars full of hoodies drive about here and there are no chavs here as we are outside of the town. They would have them out in 2 seconds anyway. I have told two neighbours already. the way the houses are you cant see around every corner as their detached their perfect to break into.

I still am waiting for them neighbours to come back and i have to tell them, her husband has a bad heart and really old and this will scared them but apparently their windows where open at the back when the other neighbor's checked. may get them to lock them now. And put up some gates. That was a target thats for sure.

Do you guys have a driveway? How about putting up some auto security lights to look across it or maybe even just down the sides? Might put them off in future if they are lit up like a christmas tree for the whole street to see.

20 quid B&Q lamp

edit: This ones just over a tenner and has a protective grill

I have a box of them! though I have a stupid electric meter. Dont know if they would drain it or not. And the drive way is short so them sensor lights would be set of my neighbours driving in to their house. I am going to look up cctv here. suppose it has to be wired to the vid recorder as if anything happens courts don't allow digital?

erm not sure about that ,

you need CCTV signs and you also need time stamps , without these your evidence is inadmissable,

as said what you want to do is

"clean your drains" in a very messy manner

As far as telling the neighbours goes... if he has a bad heart I wouldn't tell him what happened as you might feel guilty if anything happened to him (which would not be you're fault) what I would do is get hold of them crime prevention officers, tell them whats happening around your area... ask if they would visit the oap's as your worried for their safety. and lack of security measures.

the chav scum you talk of, will always hit on the easy target the old and the vunerable, its because they are cowardice.

I would get some neighbour hood watch signs up on lamp posts, its a small deterent but chavs being thick as the earths core, might, just might think lets try somewhere else.

also boyz in hoods are scared of dogs put him on a chain out side and feed the kids to him.

save lecky on out side light put a switch on and flick it on and off yourself Laughing

When I clean the drains , my hands are very unsteady and it leaves causdic soda everywhere, which is exceptionally dangerous as it causes chemical burns , to ANYBODY who touches the spillage which goes EVERYWHERE.
