zzr 250 wobbles

i have a zzr250 and it seems to have a wobble at the back sometimes i am not sure how loose the back sprocket is ment to be as i am only new to it all.
i can move the back sprocket to the front and back again by 10mm or there abouts is this ok? do i have to look for something else.
what i have checked was the tire pressure and it says 41PSI on it but i have both back and front at 35.
its like the bike is trying to counter steer or something and it gets it for a minute or two then its gone.
any ideas? and how do i check it. i have worked on cars before so i have some understandings.

wheel bearings?? head stock bearings?
check for play in the swing arm as well and that all the bolts are tight,
i suspect 41psi is a little hard

have checked the head stock and that seems to be ok and yes i thought that 41 be a little hard with the tire pressure thats why i have come back to 35.
the swing arm is tight but can lift it a little while its on the center stand but next to nothing with left to right

Like minded zzr owner in a plenty.

Having owned one, tyre preasure does make a lot of diffrence to how they handle. 36-41 are about the recomended tyre preasures for after market tyres.
Back sprocket should not have that much play in it, sound like crush rubbers are passed their best.

Sounds like cush drive rubbers or sprocket carrier bearing failure to me as well

seen a guy at a motorbike shop today and says rear shockers are stuffed and the pivot arm bushes are stuffed also front shockers are stuffed too and if i remember correctly is 500 to do rear and 400 to do front. this is a total rebuild of them if it is possible sad bit is i just got bike on 14th of november. and it falls under vic road worthy issue. The guy i got the bike off works next door to him and we rushed him to get roadworth done. Confused

so i dont want to be a soso and get the wind up him but i am not on big money and only paid 1500 for the bike with some rego and a RWC. dont know what to do

What year is the bike ? As far as i recall a zzr has a mono shock rear.

vic road worthy issue ?? That like our MOT

Ok just googled "geelong" sadly you will find most here are UK based.

Try the zzr forum as far as i can remember there are some on there who are aussie based. Thumbs Up
